International performer and fashion designer, Xitlali, who currently resides in Denver and performs throughout the United States and Mexico derives inspiration for her fashion-forward line of clothing and accessories from the Mexican culture. The partnership between her and Mexican organization, ConcentrARTE was a natural manifestation.

Parallel Artistic productions in conjunction with Xitlali designs and Mexican nonprofit organization, ConcentrARTE announce a benefit fashion and performance show that plans to help survivors of the devastating 2017 earthquake in a new, and more holistic, manner. Earlier this year, much of the state of Chiapas, Mexico was destroyed in a magnitude 8.1 earthquake that brought down many of the residential buildings. Recovery has been extremely slow and the victims have been all but forgotten by agencies outside the country.

ConcentrARTE, in association with organizations such as Pontis Mexico, not only help in the rebuilding of residents´ homes, but also educate through workshops designed to support resilience in the face of adversity through art. A proposed budget and plans for workshops and reconstruction efforts in Mexico is available at the GoFundMe page below.
