“AWAKENED” Empowering Women Through Dance, Fashion & Spoken Word June 17th

INTERNATIONAL PERFORMER AND FASHION DESIGNER, XITLALI, HOSTS “AWAKENED” A WOMEN’S EMPOWERMENT EVENT

SUNDAY, JUNE 17TH AT THE FAMOUS CLEO PARKER ROBINSON THEATER AT 6:00PM

Parallel Artistic Productions and ZeroPoint Om Productions in conjunction with Xitlali Dancer/Designer announce a benefit show, Awakened featuring enlightening spoken word, dance performers music and poetry that plans to provide resources for empowerment of all women. This is a celebration of womanhood to uplift and guide women in their personal journey as well as a conscious intent to balance the feminine and masculine.

Awakened is aimed to raise awareness and help educate girls and women on how social, economic and legal barriers has impeded women to reach their maximum potential in the world. Awakened will promote social change, highlight local resources that empower women, create community amongst women of all nationalities and thus, break down barriers.

The event will collect handbag and other accessories for working women to be donated to non-profit beneficiary, Dress for Success Denver. A portion of ticket sales and raffles will also be donated to this organization. Latin Life Denver is pleased to be a media sponsor for this very important and entertaining event. 

Performers include live music by Zay Alejandro Camara Rios, International lecturer and speaker Mila Popovich amongst other dance performances and spoken-word artist. Event host, international performer and fashion designer, Xitlali will also be showcasing her students performance. Women leaders from different genres will attend offering their support and raffling services to the public.

Resources will available for education, counseling, self care, beauty and fashion.

The event is Sunday, June 17th from 5 PM for social and network including live music 6-8 PM show at the Cleo Parker Robinson Theater located at:
