Latino Voter Registration Urged In Light Of Attacks Against Latinos and Immigrants

“This year, especially, we’ve felt the need to unite and take a stand to determine the direction of our country. There has been no dearth of attacks against Latinos and immigrants in the form of rhetoric, actions, inactions and pitiless policies. From the unmet needs of our Puerto Rican brothers and sisters to the trauma of family separations and the desperate situation of Dreamers who are waiting for a resolution on DACA and a pathway to citizenship, we have an abundance of issues, people, and policies for which our vote is needed,” said Ben Monterroso, executive director of Mi Familia Vota.
