This just might be the coolest hotel complex in Denver. McGregor Square in LoDo has quickly become the go to hot spot for visitors and locals. The baseball themed hotel and surrounding complex is a spectacle to be seen and enjoyed. It is located directly across 20th Street from Coors Field, at 1600 20th Street in Denver just across the north side of the street from Jackson’s Hole sports bar. It used to be the parking lot for surrounding businesses.
The hotel is currently hosting the Legend Exhibit on the second floor which features memorabilia from baseball’s most endeared players. The famed Mickey Mantle baseball card is currently on display for just a couple of more days. Read our related article about that HERE.
The Rally Hotel, which just opened this spring features a rooftop pool and deck on the Bridge-Way overlooking Coors Field with stunning views of the Rocky Mountains. It has more than 21,000 sq ft of event space and 176 rooms with rates starting at $229 per night.
The Rally Hotel pays homage to its baseball roots and takes its name from an age-old baseball superstition – the rally cap – in which fans wear their caps backwards or inside out as a good luck charm for their team to pull off a come-from-behind victory.
The Rally Hotel is the anchor for McGregor Square and is owned by Colorado Rockies owner/chairman and chief executive officer Dick Monfort.
