In 1615 the indigenous chronicler Felipe Huaman Poma de Ayala walked from Ayacucho to Lima to deliver an important manuscript of 1,188 pages and 398 drawings to the King of Spain. In this document he describes the injustices committed by the Spanish settlers on the native population and the impact of the conquest of the Andean world.
