• Professional piñata maker, Maribel Arredondo, will lead a class in decorating your very own sombrero piñata! Take your piñata home, fill it with your favorite goodies and give it your best swing.

  Maribel launched her piñata-making business – Mamibel – out of her home. She creates and markets these vibrant, 3D shapes with designs such as traditional, seven-pointed Mexican estrellas (stars), Dia de los Muertos sugar skulls and even characters from popular culture.
  
  ‘Made in Mexico City’ is descending on Zeppelin Station for a colorful tour of the city’s cuisine, art, design and maker community giving Denverites an opportunity to experience our next stop in the ‘Made in a City’ series.
  Our next round of events includes a crash course on Piñata making and the cultural significance of these fun flying objects.
