LAKEWOOD, COLORADO - MARCH 15:  Volunteer Rosie Hughes, sorts donated food during a food drive for The Action Center on March 15, 2020 in Lakewood, Colorado. The Action Center, located at 8755 W 14thÊAvenue, is preparing to serve those in need in light of the potential emergency that COVID-19 may present in the coming weeks. From a press release the Action Center says "should the virus begin to impact the community and create barriers to people accessing basic food needs, the Action Center will be ready for action to meet the potential increased demand." Dozens of cars brought lots of food that will help to fill the pantries at The Action Center.  The Action Center serves 80 families a day and 20,000 families each year. (Photo by Helen H.
