Cultural First Friday at Museo

Friday, April 5th

5 PM – 9 PM

 This book is about a friendship between two Maya women of Chiapas, Mexico. Christine Eber is the author of this wonderful book. She will be selling textiles and weavings made by Maya women for the “Weaving For Justice” program. Join us at Museo for our First Cultural Friday from 5pm to 9pm. Christine will be speaking at 7pm about her book and experiences. Admission is FREE on Cultural First Fridays

On the first Saturday of every month, you can enjoy art collections and non-ticketed exhibitions at the Denver Art Museum without spending a dime!

·         Stampede: Animals in Art brings together more than 300 objects from across the DAM’s collection to explore animals in art throughout centuries and across cultures.

·         Jordan Casteel: Returning the Gaze presents 29 paintings by the Denver-born artist and provides audiences with a first look at new work by one of the most acclaimed emerging artists working today. This is Jordan Casteel’s first major museum exhibition. #JordanCasteelatDAM

·         Treasures of British Art: The Berger Collection highlights a stunning display of paintings that present 500 years of British cultural history through the stories of its people, captured by the enduring brilliance of artists of the time. #TreasuresatDAM

Free general admission tickets are available on-site starting at 10 am. Some special exhibitions may require additional ticket.
