This Friday is all about well-being and self-care. How do you find a sacred space? Join us on Friday, October 4th to explore our new exhibition, Altar’d Continuum. General Admission is FREE.
The altar is a focal point of both a physical and non-physical space for personalized ritual exchange between humans and the divine.
Butterfly workshops will be available from 5pm to 6pm by Suzi Q. Smith from The Lighthouse Writers at Museo. Louis Trujillo will be performing a drag queen performance as “Sissy” at 7pm. Grab a bite to eat or a natural smoothie from The Real Deal Food truck on Museo’s back patio. We will have booths available for local artists and The Blue Bench will be giving out information on sexual assault awareness.
Latina Safe House will be a guest of ours, and they currently have a call for artists for survivors of domestic violence. Attend and visit their table at 6:30pm to explore the opportunities available and to learn what’s new in the community.
