Not a single Latina has been in the top five of the Miss Universe Competition for five years. This evening all that changed. Of the 74 global candidates nine of the final 21 participants were Latina. Four of the final five were Latina with 26 year old Adrea Meza from Chihuahua City, Mexico taking the crown giving Mexico their third Miss Universe title
