Cesar Chavez dedicated his life to improving the lives of migrant farm workers, and his actions inspired and empowered people throughout the world.

Join a special celebration of and tribute to this great leader, who was the face of the farmworker movement. The 23rd Annual Cesar E. Chavez Marcha* will begin on April 13 at 9 a.m. in Regis University’s St. John’s Chapel, 3333 Regis Blvd in Denver (See a huge photo gallery below of past celebrations).

The mass will be followed with the Cesar Chavez March, which will commence outside of the chapel at about 10:15 am.

Union workers pose in front of the bust sculpture by artist Emanuel Martinez dedicated in 2015. This bust is located in the North Denver park named for César E. Chávez, a leader in the struggle for human and civil rights for farmworkers, and an instrumental player in establishing the United Farm Workers Union, a victory for a group of working class people who had historically been abandoned by law.
