There lots of hugs, laughter and dancing going on as more than 2500 people gathered to enjoy a Hot Summer Night concert at the Auraria campus Saturday August 5, 2023 (see photo gallery below).

It was a perfect summer day with temps in the low 80’s as many people who had not seen each other since pre-covid days came together to enjoy a fun filled day and evening long concert extravaganza that went on for eight hours.

The event sponsored by Latin Life Denver Media and produced by Cedric Pride Entertainment featured three of Denver’s top local bands, the Deleon band, Latin Sol and Hot Lunch along with two national headliners, Lakeside and Tierra Legacy.

“Hands down, the best concert of the summer. It was the perfect night with the best of friends and sweet music. I feel blessed, I really do,” stated. Arlette Lucero stated on her Facebook post. A sentiment shard by many who were there.
