Dancing and socializing will be non-stop Saturday August 5th for what promises to be the concert happening of the summer. A Hot Summer Night presented by Latin Life Denver Media and Cedric Pride Entertainment will take you on a super fun concert experience to be remembered for years to come.
The concert will take place at the expansive venue of Tivoli Quad at the Auraria Campus, 1000 Larimer St. There is plenty of parking on campus ($20) and buses and light rail are free. The venue will allow concert goers to roam freely among the food and beverage trucks while running into people they may not have seen for a while. TICKETS@EVENTBRITE.
Lawn chairs and small umbrellas are allowed. Free water stations will be available throughout the venue.
It has been a long time, since before Covid 19, that community has been able to come together for day and evening long event, 2pm-9pm, that allows people to reconnect, to see old friends, old acquaintances and make new ones. It’s the type of gathering that people will talk about long after everyone has gone home.
You don’t want to see what a great time everyone had on social media when you could have been there in person yourself dancing and enjoying a good time with everyone who will be there.
You don’t want to be left out of this party and for just $40 there is no reason you should be. “it’s a great price for a concert and venue of this caliber” said promoter Cedric Pride of Cedric Pride Entertainment. “The cost of concert tickets these days is exorbitant and when you add fees and such, it’s just crazy. The historic Deleon Band, led by Vic DeLeon, will get the party started at 2pm with their classic old school sound that has entertained Denverites for decades. Many people can still name many of the dance clubs from back in the day when they experienced the DeLeon’s music.
The Hot Lunch Band is sure to keep the crowd pumped. They too have been around the Denver club scene for years with their funky soulful sounds that are always crowd pleasers.
Then there’s the Latin Sol band who always attracts a huge following wherever they perform. Their versatile styling of today’s and yesterday’s top hits are always entertaining.
Next up, the Tierra Legacy band. What can you say about Tierra that hasn’t already been said. Speak of staying power Tierra has been around since I was at the university at CU Boulder in the 1970’s. Tierra’s legacy lives on through the band’s new iteration, “Tierra Legacy”, wholly owned by the Salas family. The band includes David Salas (Rudy’s son), Richard Salas (Rudy and Steve’s brother), original and longtime members who created the hit songs for Tierra, and two fresh and exciting new lead singers.
Then, for good measure, to end the evening in spectacular fashion, Lakeside takes the stage performing their ageless million seller hits. They have been around since 1971 producing more than 10 albums with hits like “Fantastic Voyage”, “Party Patrol”, “All The Way Live” and many, many more.
Throughout the day DJ Dizzy D and DJ Fadora will keep the crowd entertained during band changes.

This promises to be the funnest event of the summer. Reconnect with old friends and maybe make some new ones. This day and night concert brings together some of the most treasured names in concert entertainment both locally and nationally.
