CLLARO and various partners in the Latino Advocacy Council are outraged to learn that former Lieutenant Governor Joe Garcia is not included as part of the University of Colorado’s Board of Regents search committee’s top five finalists for the university’s next president.
There will be a wide variety of virtual and in-person educational activities and events from our cultural partners: Denver Museum of Nature & Science, Denver Art Museum, Denver Zoo, Denver Center for the Performing Arts, Denver Botanic Gardens, Clyfford Still Museum, Denver Public Library, History Colorado, Boulder Museum of Contemporary Art and the Colorado Symphony for children and families to access at no cost.
Civic Center Park will again come alive the first weekend in May with the sights, sounds, eats, and culture that is Denver’s largest cultural event in the state: the 33rd annual Cinco De Mayo ‘Celebrate Culture’ festival.
